Afro Care Adult Daycare provides a supportive and professional environment for adults and the elderly in need of daytime care.

Service Eligible:
Medicaid-eligible seniors and adults with disabilities who experience social isolation or have difficulty managing daily activities independently. Eligibility for services is determined based on the need for support to prevent or delay nursing home placement.

Services Provided:
Social activities and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as eating, bathing, and dressing, are offered during daytime hours (Monday-Friday) on a regularly scheduled basis at an adult day services center. Eligibility includes:

• Individuals who is considered senior years of age or older
• Individuals requiring assistance with activities of daily living
• Individuals needing help with medications, feedings, or treatments
• Individuals requiring healthcare monitoring by a professional
• Individuals with developmental disabilities
